How to Use Minolta Lenses on Canon EOS bodies

Here’s a site, http://digitalrokkor.altervista.org/ that explains how to use those Minolta lenses that we horde on newer Canon digital bodies.

Unfortunately the site seems to be a little dated as far as the bodies they cover, but it does show the conversion necessary. This is really interesting stuff.

While I’m at it, there is also a flickr group devoted to this, http://www.flickr.com/groups/md-eos/

Photography Site of the Day – Early Photography

Here is a wonderful resource for anyone looking at older cameras. http://www.earlyphotography.co.uk has fantastic pictures and descriptions of many early cameras. These range from Camera Obscura and Wet Plate Cameras to TLR and 35mm SLRs to Disguised and Miniature (Spy) cameras. This is a really well done site and it’s very appreciated. While the reference material isn’t exhaustive, there are plenty of pictures and good descriptions of the cameras. There are also Company Details, British Patents and Serial Numbers.
