Ilford Hypam, Non-Hardening Rapid Fixer for Film & Paper, 5 Liter Container.ILFORD HYPAM is a non-hardening rapid fixer supplied as a liquid concentrate that is diluted with water for use. It is easy and convenient to use. Without the addition of a hardener it is suitable for all black and white film and paper, manual and machine processing applications in the temperature range of 18-40°C (66-104°F). It can also be used for fixing other specialist, X-ray, scientific products and graphic arts materials. The fixing agent in HYPAM is ammonium thiosulphate, it contains no sodium thiosulphate (hypo). ILFORD HYPAM HARDENER is a concentrated liquid hardener that is used to turn working strength solutions of ILFORD HYPAM into a hardening fixer for Black & White films. For most applications modern camera films are sufficiently hardened when manufactured for most processing circumstances so the general use of a fix hardening agent is no longer recommended
Ilford Ilfostop Stop Bath 500 Milliliter Bottle.ILFORD ILFOSTOP is a low odour citric acid stop bath. After development we recommend that films and papers are rinsed in an acid stop bath to stop development immediately and neutralise the developer to help maintain the activity of the fixer bath. ILFOSTOP contains an indicator dye that is pH sensitive and changes colour from yellow to purple as the stop bath becomes exhausted. It is specifically recommended for dish/tray processing of paper or deep tank processing of film. ILFOSTOP helps to maintain the activity and prolong the life of the fixer solution by reducing carry over of excess developer (alkaline) into the fixer bath (acidic). It is not recommended for machine processing applications as the short fix and wash times often used may leave a residual dye stain on films and prints. The longer wash times usually associated with dish/tray and tank processing minimise this risk.Do not let developer become contaminated with a stop bath solution.
Ilford 2000 RT Fixer / Replenisher 5 LiterILFORD 2000 RT fixer/replenisher is a non-hardening rapid fixer also supplied as a liquid concentrate in master cartons containing two 2 1/2 gallon cubitainers. Dilute 1 part concentrate with 4 parts water to make working strength fixer and replenisher. Mix thoroughly. ILFORD 2000 RT fixer/replenisher is formulated for use at processing temperatures of 68°F to 90°F (20°C-32°C). Since it is a non-hardening fixer, it permits shorter and more efficient washing with resin coated papers. Replenish the working strength fixer at an initial rate of 12.5ml for each 8x10 inch sheet or 22.5ml/ft 2 of material being processed. This rate will provide adequate replenishment for most processors but may be adjusted if necessary. The pH of freshly mixed replenisher solution is 5.05±1.0. The specific gravity, taken at 68°F, is 1.078±0.05.Temperature Development Time 68°F (20°C) 45-50 seconds 77°F (25°C) 30-35 seconds 86°F (30°C) 20-25 seconds 95°F (35°C) 15-20 seconds. Times are suitable for replenished systems with a solution life of 3 months. The solution life is dependent on paper throughput. A suggested minimum is 30ft 2 or 54 8x10 inch sheets of paper per liter (0.26 gallons) of working strength solution per week. If throughput is considerably less than this, the chemicals may degrade prematurely. To maintain print quality, it may be necessary either to mix fresh tank solution every 6 weeks or double the replenish
