LD View Camera for Canon EOS The
LD View Camera for Canon EOS is a view camera equipped to immediately accept Canon SLR cameras, allowing users easy control of depth of field, distortion, lateral shift, portrait/landscape orientation, and more. You must use a large format lens or a medium format SLR lens made for Pentax, Hasselblad, or Mamiya cameras.
You'll have more creative control over the image than would be possible with any EOS-type SLR lens attached directly to your Canon EOS camera-including Canon's TS-E series. Control perspective distortion by tilting the lens standard or body standard (focus plane), or use lateral shifts to move the image upon the ground glass and get larger image stitching. In addition, you can change format very quickly and smoothly.
The Horseman LD's unique ability to take advantage of camera movements such as shift and tilt is beyond the scope of a normal EOS SLR. It provides a swing/tilt of up to 360 degree, a rise/fall of 30mm each and a lateral shift of 30mm left and right. With conventional view cameras without the LD's unique focus-plane-axis tilting, you get focus and image shifts with tilts, which require refocusing and recomposition. No image or focus shift occurs when using the LD's rear tilt/swing, allowing you to control the plane of focus by tilting the lens.
This LD also has the optional capacity to take advantage of high-end digital back made for medium format cameras, from companies such as Phase One, Leaf, Imacon and Sinar, or to convert to a 4x5 film camera. Hasselblad "H", or Mamiya 645 back.
SW 55mm f/4.5 APO Grandagon Lens
The Apo-Grandagon series incorporate new glass combinations including ED(Extra-low Dispersion) glasses making apo-chromatic correction of super-wide angle lenses possible for the first time. The high maximum aperture of f/4.5 makes adjustments easier, and the working aperture of f/11-16 allows shorter exposure times for outdoor work. The use of an optional Rodenstock center-filter is recommended for critical work. This lens is mounted on a matched focusing mount with a mounting plate specific to the Horseman SW612, SW612 Pro, SW-D, and SW-D2 cameras.

65mm f/4.5 Grandagon-N Lens
The 65mm f/4.5 Grandagon-N Lens is a Rodenstock 65mm f/4.5 Grandagon-N with a standard Copal #0 shutter, but built into a Horseman-specific helical focusing mount and barrel assembly made to fit upon their SW612/SW612 Professional medium format cameras. Used with a 6x12 film back, this lens produces a moderately wide 81 degree x 47 degree field of view, and upon the 612 cameras the helicoid focusing mount allows a minimum focusing distance of 2.3' (0.7m). Generous amounts of shift are also permitted (only on the 612 Professional). The 65mm f/4.5 Grandagon-N is a highly-corrected 8-element lens design with an f/16-22 recommended working aperture and a bright f/4.5 maximum viewing aperture to aid focusing in low light. The use of the optional #29227 center filter (HOCF65SW) is recommended for critical work, especially with transparencies.
