This CowboyStudio Photo Softbox is a necessary item in any professional portrait studio and would be a great addition to your studio. Barn Door & Honeycomb Grid & Gel Set for Hensel, Elinchrom, Photogenic

The barndoor direct your light beam from narrow to wide, gives you greater control over your spill light, can also be used for flagging. Barn door can be used for hard dramatic lighting. All metal construction that will last for years. Controls your spill light, this is a must have accessory for creating professional images. Gels and honeycomb attach to the barn door.

Using a barndoor set will allow you to control light cast of subject when attached to the front of the reflector of your light source. The more leaves on a barndoor set and/or the longer the leaves are, the light "beam" may be specifically controlled. Positioning of leaves will determine size of shaft light. Rotating leaves will determine the angle of the shaft of light. A 4-leaf barndoor provides more light control than a 2-leaf barndoor set.

Barn Door

Four (4) color gels to allow you to have different background colors. Gels are used to either correct the light balance or create dramatic lighting effects. These are also used to change colors of backgrounds. The gels are designed to be used with the barn door attachment/lens holder.

One (1) Honeycomb designed to give you ultimate control on the direction of your light. The honeycomb grid will turn a strobe head into a specular light source. It will emit a beam of light precisely where you aim. Photographers who use these tend to use many, "painting a scene" precisely with pools of light.

This 4 leaf barndoor set is specifically designed for use on the reflector. Barndoors is essential accessories for any lighting system. These devices alter the shape, intensity, or color of the light output from your flash heads. Use of a barndoor set will result in a shaft of light, when it is attached to the front of the reflector of your light source. The size of the shaft of light will be determined by the opening of the leaves, and the distance of the light from the subject.
