You know when you’re getting old when you can’t remember the circumstances of an event even though you think it significant.<\/p>\n

I don’t remember where I was introduced to Paul Strand’s work. I remember being at a lecture or film about him and I remember knowing that I wasn’t going to like the guy. I was wrong. I do remember that it was only a few minutes into it, and I was re-evaluating my preconceptions. Maybe that’s the important thing.<\/p>\n
