Photography On The Net – Canon Digital Photography Forums

Here’s another photography forum that I think is worth checking out, especially if you shoot Canon digital cameras – Photography On The Net – Canon Digital Photography Forums

Here, you will find a very active set of discussion forums dealing with subjects like photography industry news, Canon gear, the business of photography, processing, printing, and photo sharing.

There is quite a bit of information here and these forums are very active.

Digital Grin Photography Forum

Digital Grin is another photography forum that I’d like to pass along. It has many forums on it with some great information.

There are general photography topics like people, street, landscape, sports, cameras, and macro.

Let’s look at their Holy Macro forum for instance. In that forum, there are tutorials on macro shooting and focus stacking. There are also many examples of stunning macro photography from the members.

Check out this sticky post from their Finishing School forum. There are some excellent tutorials there for processing your digital photographs.

This is another really good forum site that’s worth checking out if you haven’t been there.

Fred Miranda Photography Forum

I thought I would continue writing about some interesting photography forums that I’ve found. FredMiranda.com has a nice forum.

This is a general purpose forum. It has gear discussion, photo assignments, contests, and critiques.

Not all posts seem to get responses, yet it does seem to be a very active forum with very helpful members.

The main attraction for me there is the Alternative Gear & Lenses Forum I always can find something to sink my teeth into when considering alternative gear. There’s some great stuff there including using older Pentax or Minolta lenses on newer Canon bodies and things like that.

It also has Nikon and Canon SLR forums as well as one for pro digital photography.

The site includes a store, articles and essays, and software plug-ins for sale. I have not purchased anything from them, however. I’ve only gone there to read the forums.

It’s worth checking out.
