I don’t get up to New York very often. Maybe if I did, I would have realized that the New York Public Library has a massive photography collection. This short video which features the curator of the collection describes some of the 400,000 documentary photographs in the library. Some of these photographs in the New York Public Library are by Dorothea Lange, Berenice Abbott, Danny Lyon, and Stephen Dupont. This sounds like a good excuse for a trip to New York.
