I’m not a sports guy, but this is an interesting way of getting high speed sequenced images from digital SLRs. This is from when Robert Hanashiro was covering Barry Bonds’ record swing for USA Today. He was using Canon EOS-1D Mark III cameras and Pocket Wizard
MultiMax remotes to do the sequencing.

I really like the Minolta SLR’s vs. Canon, Nikon & Pentax link. It is a great chart showing the different models of SLRs by year from Nikon, Pentax, Canon and Minolta.
The technical Minolta information is very good. This is a site worth reading and bookmarking especially if you are a Minolta fan or collector.
